Red Dress is an online women’s clothing boutique based in Athens, Georgia. The national retailer offers a wide variety of affordable clothing, footwear, beauty, and fashion accessories. Starting off as a brick and mortar storefront bringing in $64k a year, the company got a jumpstart on an episode of Shark Tank in 2014 when Mark Cuban invested $600,000 to purchase 15% of the company.
How have the results been since launching your new branding and website?
A Unique Vision: Shop the look
‘Shop the Look’ is your one-stop outfit shop. The idea was born out of Diana's own shopping frustrations and I brought it to life in a beautiful, functional design that is both user friendly and optimized for a seamless shopping experience on any device. Shop the Look gives users the ability to buy all items in an outfit in one place, and Red Dress is currently the only e-commerce site to offer this incredibly innovative feature.
Trial testing & Results
Red Dress has a VIP group of 250 ride-or-die customers. They were our trial and focus group and helped push user optimization and functionality even further. After sharing the site design with the VIPs, we got back PowerPoint presentations of issues and adjustments they wanted made. Your customers can tell you what they want better than anyone else can.
The End Results
Red Dress hit double-digit growth mere months after rebranding and launching their new site. It could lead one to believe creating a wildly successful multi-channel fashion brand is effortless, but it took a lot of time, collaboration, innovation, and creativity. Red Dress started with an annual $64K as a brick and mortar store to $500K when they launched online to $7.5 million when they entered Shark Tank. Since the launch of their new look and website, they are pulling in revenue topping $15M annually.
